I have been rating bathrooms in the Washington, DC area for the last 2 years. At one time the blog was very popular, but job and family changes (new baby) has taken up a lot of my time. At the request of many people, I am going to make a greater effort to keep up with the updates as I have really enjoyed informing the public about establishments in our area. Clean up those bathrooms...THE LAVATORY LADY IS BACK!

- I am a 39 year old wife and mother of 2 boys and 1 girl living in Northern Virginia. I started this blog after I became pregnant for the first time and I was forced to enter more public restrooms than ever before. Normally, I would avoid public restrooms if I could, but when you have a fetus sitting on your bladder, it's just not possible. Once the baby came and required diapers and finally potty training, I had to enter even more bathrooms and I was appalled at the conditions of manythe restrooms. Since my family and I enjoy trying new places, I figured why not inform the public of some the better places and which places to avoid.

Thank you for providing this service. As a mom expecting my second child I can appreciate the need to find a clean facility to use the bathroom. This service is very helpful.
KEEP IT UP!!! Thank you so much. I truly believe that the cleanliness of the bathroom, in any business, reflects it's concern for servicing it's customers. If you can't keep your bathrooms clean, what else are you ignoring? (I don't even want to think about it!) Thanks again.
I just saw the newscast...oh my god!! The camera added 50 pounds. I'm never eating again! OH well, readship has increased.
