This is a toilet in the ladies room where I work? I've taken to calling it the squat pot, but seriously I have never seen a toilet like this in the ladies room.
Does anybody know what this is?

I have been rating bathrooms in the Washington, DC area for the last 2 years. At one time the blog was very popular, but job and family changes (new baby) has taken up a lot of my time. At the request of many people, I am going to make a greater effort to keep up with the updates as I have really enjoyed informing the public about establishments in our area. - I am a 39 year old wife and mother of 2 boys and 1 girl living in Northern Virginia. I started this blog after I became pregnant for the first time and I was forced to enter more public restrooms than ever before. Normally, I would avoid public restrooms if I could, but when you have a fetus sitting on your bladder, it's just not possible. Once the baby came and required diapers and finally potty training, I had to enter even more bathrooms and I was appalled at the conditions of manythe restrooms. Since my family and I enjoy trying new places, I figured why not inform the public of some the better places and which places to avoid.

Could it actually be a squat pot?
In the middle east, I have seen women's rooms that have holes in the floors so women who wear traditional Muslim garb can easily go without removing everything. Maybe it is the American take on it since we would be too weirded out by a hole in the floor?
